Chittorgarh Fort

The crown jewel of the city, this massive UNESCO World Heritage site is the largest fort in India. Its formidable gates, historical palaces, and stunning reservoirs narrate epic tales of bravery and sacrifice from the Rajput era.

 

Erected in the 15th century by Rana Kumbha to commemorate his military triumphs, this magnificent 9-story tower is intricately carved with Hindu deities from top to bottom, offering sweeping views of the entire fort complex.

A breathtaking 12th-century monument dedicated to the first Jain Tirthankara, Adinath. Standing 22 meters tall, it is beautifully adorned with intricate Jain sculptures and reflects the region’s deep spiritual heritage.

The largest and oldest monument within the fort complex. These hauntingly beautiful ruins include royal apartments, elephant stables, and the legendary underground cellars associated with Queen Padmini’s ultimate sacrifice.
